Perspektywy Education Foundation is a non-governmental non-profit organization operating since 1998 in the area of education, science and chances equalization. Its main goal is to stimulate the development of young people’s potential as well as that of Polish and worldwide higher education.
For the last 15 years the Foundation has been supporting young women in selecting technical and science studies with our campaigns such as Girls As Engineers! and Girls Go Science!. 200,000 young women have so far participated in the projects and the share of women at technical universities has increased by 10%. Our Organization also runs many inspirational activities for young women in technologies and science: IT for SHE Mentoring Progam, IT for SHE Kids, Women in Tech Camp, Lean in STEM, Girls Go Start-Up! Academy, Shesnnovation Academy, Girls Go Science!, LeaderSHEp Academy, and a special grant program for female IT students: New Technologies for Girls (jointly with Intel).
The Foundation is the organizer of Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit – the biggest event for women in technologies in this part of the world – drawing 10 500 participants from over 100 countries.
In the Eastern Partnership countries and Central Asia, we promote Poland as an IT Hub and run a program of 400 grants for talented female IT students to come to the “Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit”. Organization bases its activities on research, results of which are published in the form of valuable Reports.
